Plymouth Police investigated a two vehicle crash Tuesday morning about 6:45 at Michigan Street and Plymouth/Goshen Trail.

Officer Wally Derifield investigated the crash that sent a Plymouth Man to Memorial Hospital in South Bend by air ambulance.

The crash information states that a Honda CRV driven by 19 year old Gabriela Ruiz Licona of Plymouth was north bound on Michigan Street.  Her vehicle was rear-ended by a Lincoln MKX driven by 76 year old Richard Featherstone of Plymouth.  The impact caused Featherstone to lose control of his vehicle and it rolled over an unknown number of times before coming to rest on its side in the CVS parking lot.

Mr. Featherstone had to be extricated from the vehicle by Plymouth Fire and EMS.  He was transported out to the Plymouth Airport where Lutheran Air helicoptered him to Memorial Hospital in South Bend due to his injuries.

Licona refused medical treatment at the scene.
