Plymouth hangs on for win
WALKERTON – The Plymouth Pilgrim C Boys Basketball Team made the short trip to Walkerton Monday night to take on the Falcons. The Pilgrims came home with a one-point victory 41-40 over their rival.
The Pilgrims jumped out quickly in the contest as they took a 20 point lead by halftime at 32-12. But Glenn came storming back and made it a tight contest in the second half by outscoring the Pilgrims 28-9.
Connor DeLee led the Pilgrim attack with 11 points on the inside. Lennon Creighbaum followed that with seven points while Matt Manzuk added 10 points.
The win pushes the Pilgrims to 2-0 on the year. They open NLC play Thursday night when they host the Goshen RedHawks at 6:45 p.m. in the Plymouth Auxiliary Gym.
