Bicycle accidentWednesday evening, about 9:30, Plymouth Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Western Avenue and the U.S. 30 overpass due to an unknown accident.

The preliminary investigation showed 25 year old Jordan Ringer of Plymouth was riding a bicycle southbound on Western Avenue when it collided with a vehicle traveling north in the northbound lane of Western Avenue.

Jordan Ringer was transported by Plymouth EMS to Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was 19 year old Samuel Jasso also of Plymouth.

The accident remains under investigation.
