Plymouth takes senior night win
PLYMOUTH – The Plymouth Pilgrim Volleyball team celebrated Senior Night by taking down the Goshen Lady RedHawks Thursday night at The Rock. The Pilgrims won in three games 25-20, 25-17, and 25-21.
Sydni Weir picked up 15 Digs and seven assists on the night. Kenzie Snyder had 24 Digs. Alaina Clady contributed seven Kills and four Blocks. Avery Christy lead the Pilgrims in Assists with 19. Erin Renneker added six Kills.
The win pushes their record to 3-3 in the NLC and 15-10 overall. The girls play in the Elkhart Memorial tournament Saturday starting at 10:00 AM.
The JV Pilgrims downed Goshen 25-18, 25-10. Leading the Pilgrims to victory were Taylor Delp, Corinne Rhodes, Taya Wagner, Ellie Jones, Marley Houin, Olivia Newcomb, and Jordan Brown. The win moves them to 10-9 on the year.
The C Team Pilgrims split two matches on the road at Goshen Thursday night. The Pilgrims fell to Mishawaka Marian 17-25, 12-25. The beat Goshen in three games 17-25, 25-21, and 15-13.
Leading the young Pilgrims Thursday night were Meagan Crum, Erin Lidtkey, Paige Feece, Karissa Hall, Halle Hopple, and Nataly DeLeon. The split makes their record 6-11 on the year.
