Rascoe, Bee Life Lady Chargers to Victory
PLYMOUTH – Ancilla College (11-11, 5-7) got two great performances from LaRae Rascoe and Talia Bee as they beat Kalamazoo Valley 81-72 Thursday night in a Michigan Community College Athletic Conference game. Rascoe recorded her 999th point on the evening.
Bee owned the first half as she poured in 22 of her 28 points in the opening 20 minutes. Rascoe scored 21 of her 31 points in the second half, as Ancilla withstood a Kalamazoo (10-12, 4-9) rally that trimmed a 10 point Charger advantage to a single point, 59-58. Rascoe also grabbed 16 rebounds and had eight steals and four assists. Bee collected 11 rebounds.
Ancilla hosts Glen Oaks on Monday night at the LifePlex at 5;30 p.m.
