Red Storm seventh takes tight win
PLYMOUTH — Lincoln’s seventh grade A team hosted New Prairie Tuesday night, taking a 29-26 win.
Lincoln had beaten them 25-18 earlier in the season during a tournament. New Prairie came out in a matchup 3-2 zone that was very intimidating. Struggling with it in the first half Lincoln went in at halftime down 14-6.
Slowly chipping away Lincoln was able to cut their lead down and thanks to a full court press in the fourth quarter Lincoln was able to go on a 14-6 run and come out on time winning 29-26.
The leading scorer was Mason Bales with 13 points.
Lincoln’s seventh grade A and B teams’ next matchups will be Monday at Lincoln hosting Triton.
