The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Mark Senter conducted a ribbon cutting for Autumn Trace, the new senior living community on State Road 17 just west of Plymouth Friday at noon.
While the independent and assisted living facility opened about four weeks ago, the weather delayed the ribbon cutting to allow time for the landscaping to be completed.
Joe Collins, Executive Director said they have seven apartments occupied and nine residents, including two couples. In total there are 56 studio, one bedroom and two bedroom apartments in the facility.
Rents vary from the size of the unit and if any additional services are used. The base rent does include three meals a day, weekly housekeeping and weekly laundry of linens. The facility does offer two laundry areas with three washers and dryers that are free to residents to use. There is also a courtyard and four screened porches for enjoying the outdoors. The main lobby has comfortable seating with a large TV for visiting with friends and family and a lovely dining room.
Autumn Trace offers a game room with card tables and bumper pool, activity room, movie theater, coffee café, beauty shop, chapel with weekly service and many seating areas throughout the facility.
