The west bound lanes of US 30 were stalled Thursday after two semis collided just to the east of the intersection of US 30 and Oak Drive.
Emergency responders were dispatched to US30 at 11:48 for a read-end crash involving two semis.
56 year old Aydin Ergun of Hollywood, FL was west bound on US 30 in a 2015 Peterbilt semi. He told Officer John Weir he didn’t see that traffic was stopped for the light. Ergun crashed into the semi-trailer driven by 61 year old Larry McCabe who was driving a 2018 Volvo.
Ergun was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
