arrestsOfficers from the Plymouth Police Department were dispatched to the 1500 block of Kenwood Avenue on Saturday, June 29th about 12:30 in the morning.  The call was in reference to two subjects that were suspected of going through vehicles in the area.

Sgt. Taberski and Officer Richey arrived on scene and located two male subjects walking west on Kenwood Avenue. When the officers attempted to speak to the subjects, one of them fled on foot. After a foot pursuit that suspect was tazered and apprehended. It was found that he was carrying a handgun without a license.

The two suspects, 19 year old Nicholas Parker of Merrillville and 18 year old Andrew Mendoza of Bourbon were arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Nickolas Parker was arrested for resisting Law Enforcement and Carrying a Handgun without a License while Andrew Mendoza was arrested for Possession Of Marijuana under 30 Grams.
