Drug Arrests

On Wednesday August 7, Officers with the Undercover Narcotics Investigation Team (UNIT) served several arrests warrants in Starke County, Marshall County and Allen County.  Warrants were served with the assistance of the Starke County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police.

Arrested and lodged at the Marshall County Jail were:

MugShot_megan bickel 8-7-19Megan Bickle, age 35, of Knox for Dealing in Methamphetamine as a Level 4 Felony with a $25,000 cash bond

MugShot_sabrina Cahillane 8-7-19Sabrina Cahillane, age 26, of Knox for Dealing in a Narcotic Drug as a Level 2 Felony with a $50,000 cash bond

MugShot_austin owens 8-7-19Austin Owens, age 31, of Knox for Dealing in Methamphetamine as a Level 3 Felony with a $50,000 cash bond

MugShot_eric lovely 8-7-19Eric Lovely, age 38, of Culver for Dealing in a Narcotic Drug Level as a Level 2 Felony with a $50,000 cash bond and

MugShot_travis mechling 8-7-19Travis Mechling, age 34, of LaPaz for Dealing in Methamphetamine as a Level 3 Felony with a $50,000 cash bond.

Being held in the Allen County Jail is, Michael Byer, age 31, from Knox.  Byer is being held for Dealing in Methamphetamine as a Level 3 Felony with a $50,000 bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
