With the break in the extreme weather, the Plymouth Water Department will repair a water main break on West Jefferson Street today.
The leak was discovered a couple of days ago and signs were placed on the south side of Jefferson Street just to the west of the Moose Lodge for the icy conditions. With the extreme cold weather it was decided to wait to make the necessary repairs until the dangerous wind chills were gone.
West Jefferson Street from 8th Street to Oak Drive will be CLOSED Friday morning as soon as the school buses finish their route. All through traffic will be detoured.
