12-31-19 Weather eventMonday morning the Marshall County Emergency Management posted the following weather statement from the National Weather Service.  The National Weather Service is forecasting the potential for Marshall County to receive between 1 to 2 inches of snow between 1 A.M. and 3 P.M. on Tuesday, December 31st, with the most significant accumulation will most likely be north of U.S. 6.

No watches or warnings are currently issued for Marshall County

Impacts from this weather will include slick roads that may lead to an increase in slide offs and traffic accidents.

As a way to prepare drivers should slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.  Increase your following distance. Drive defensively and be aware of the increase potential for icy conditions on bridges and overpasses.
