U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) today issued the following statement in advance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day:
“On this Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we reflect on the lessons Dr. King and other civil rights leaders taught us. We must treat every individual with dignity, we must strive toward equality, and we must always serve as ‘custodians of hope’ to our friends, neighbors and communities. I join my fellow Americans in honoring the life and work of Dr. King.”
