Next Level Jobs Trains 10K Hoosiers

February 15, 2020

Jack Jordan state RepMore Hoosiers are now prepared to work in high-paying, high-demand fields thanks to the Next Level Jobs initiative. Since 2017, more than 10,000 Hoosiers completed a high-demand certificate program with approximately 23,000 currently enrolled in the Next Level Jobs Workforce Ready Grant program.
The grant program, which I voted in support of, works to drive economic growth by further educating and training Hoosiers. Employees can receive up to $5,000 and employers up to $50,000 in grant money to help pay for training costs.

Tuition-free certificates are available for five of the most high-demand industries, including transportation and logistics, advanced manufacturing, IT and business services, building construction, and health and life sciences. Hoosiers taking advantage of the Next Level Jobs initiative are setting themselves up for success. It’s never too late for anyone to build on their education and skills to obtain a better paying, high-demand job.
