There’s something about free money that seems rather appealing. Free Prizes aren’t bad either.
Residents at Miller’s Assisted Living Facility celebrated National Lottery Day by trying their luck at the scratch off tickets. There was a bit of a difference in the fact however, NO MONEY EXCHANGED HANDS!
Activity Director Cindy Flagg designed scratch off tickets for the residents in which they would win fun and useful prizes rather than money.
All they had to do to receive a ticket was listen to a short history of the US Lottery and the step-by-step process of how Flagg put the tickets together!! After listening they all received a ticket and started scratching!! There was a lot of excitement in the room as the residents scratched their tickets and received prizes. There were enough tickets to go around the room THREE times! One thing’s for sure — you have to play to win. National Lottery Day was a perfect chance for everyone to get involved and try their luck.
