Lincoln eighth takes title
NAPPANEE – Lincoln’s eighth-grade Redstorm basketball team took a pair of wins and the title at the NorthWood tournament.
Opening round, Lincoln played an exciting game against Edgewood to a 47-42 win.
Edgewood opened the first quarter with a 20-10 lead. Lincoln fought allowing just 22 points in the next three quarters.
Mason Bales came out hot hitting four three-pointers in the game, ending with 15 points. Wade Seddelmeyer added nine points and Kadyn Ellery chipped in eight points.
In the championship game, Lincoln faced off against Northwood Lincoln leading the entire game and taking a 53-27 win. Leading Lincoln was Mason Bales with 15 points. Troy Hundt added a tough nine points.
The Redstorm record is now 4-0 for the season.
