arrested_handcuffsOn Thursday, November 26, at approximately 2:30 in the afternoon a female driver of a minivan was called in for unsafe driving.  Plymouth Police Officer Jeremy Enyart located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop at Jefferson and Walnut Streets.

During the investigation it was discovered that the female driver had an active protective order against the male passenger identified as 33 year old Joseph Hudson of Plymouth.

Hudson was subsequently arrested for the violation of a protective order. He was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a $500 cash bond. After posting bond, Hudson was released just before 3 p.m. on Friday and given a December 22nd court date in Marshall Superior Court number II.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
