Bremen boys seventh at NIC
ELKHART — The Bremen boys swim and dive team placed seventh at the NIC swim and dive meet on Saturday afternoon.
Anders Brurok highlighted the day with a 2nd team all-conference swim in the 500 freestyle, placing second with a time of 5:02.86. A. Brurok also placed fifth in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:52.06.
Beck Brurok earned an all-conference honorable mention in the 200 IM, placing third in a time of 2:01.48. B. Brurok also placed sixth in the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:03.54.
The 200 Medley Relay team of A. Brurok, B. Brurok, Al Byrd, and Kenny Hilgendorf made it onto the podium with an eighth-place finish in a time of 1:49.77.
B. Brurok, Jacob Andrews, Hilgendorf, and A. Brurok made it to the podium in the 200 Free Relay after their seventh-place performance. They combined for a final time of 1:38.29.
