Bremen Man Arrested for Stalking, Harassment, Computer Trespass & More

Mugshot_Chase BiceA 28 year old Bremen man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on charges of Stalking, Offense against Computer User, Computer Trespass and Harassment.

On August 31st Bremen Police Officer Nick Young was advised by 26 year old Saylor Bice that she suspected her ex-husband, Chase Bice had changed her OnStar account settings and primary information and was now tracking her locations in an attempt to harass her.  It was noted that the divorce between the two was finalized on July 24th.

A search warrant for OnStar records showed that Chase Bice accessed the GPS location on his x-wife’s vehicle 143 times from February 9th to August 28th of this year.  Since the divorce he had accessed her location 73 times.

On October 12th Officer Young met with Ms Bice who was able to provide images and video taken during the times her vehicle location was accessed.  She also realized her OnStar account was reactivated using a different credit card.  Ms. Bice said she had not reactivated her account and she believed Chase Bice was still able to track her locations.  She also told Officer Young she now feared for her safety.

Chase H. Bice was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $5,000 cash bond and charged with Stalking a level 6 felony; Offense Against Computer Users a level 6 felony; Computer Trespass a level A Misdemeanor and Harassment a level B Misdemeanor.
