Local NewsThe City of Plymouth will conduct their regular meetings Monday evening, July 27th beginning at 6 p.m. in the second floor Council Chambers of City Hall.

The Board of Public Works and Safety will award bids for the Centennial Crossings residential development lift station and forced main along with the 2020 Summer Street and Sidewalk projects.

During reports from City department heads, the Board of Public Works will discuss the request to limit parking to only one side of Clark Street.  They will also hear the request for a Safe Haven Baby Box and a payment plan for Bonnie Rock for the property at 109 North Michigan Street.

The City Council has a number of items on the agenda for Monday’s meeting at 6:30.    Members will consider a resolution confirming certain real estate to be within an Economic Revitalization Area for The Solomon Development Group for a residential project by Kevin Berger.  There is also a additional appropriation resolution up for consideration.

Common Council members will discuss the Plymouth Utilities Payment agreement for past due bills related to COVID-19 and get an update on the Stellar Communities project for the Crossroads Plaza at Michigan and Jefferson Streets from Randy Danielson.

Marshall County Health Department Administrator, Ashley Garcia will give members of the City Council an briefing on COVID-19.

The city meetings are open to the public although masks must be worn.  Those attending should enter through the Garro Street entrance and take the elevator to the second floor.
