County BuildingThe Marshall County Commissioners have a busy agenda for their meeting at 9:30 on Monday morning.  Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will be the first to report followed by County Plan Director Ty Adley who has ordinances to present for erosion control, solar and the solar fee ordinance.  The erosion control ordinance was denied in December and will be presented with changes to the language that will affect when the Marshall County Drainage Sediment Control Ordinance would come into play. Also on the agenda is an ordinance to establish a moratorium on developmental standards for solar farms.

Marshall County Emergency Management Director Clyde Avery will present his quarterly report and the current County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.  Angie Birchmeier the County Treasurer will seek approval from the commissioners for extended hours for tax collections in 2020 and County Clerk Deb VanDeMark will discuss a park board.

Ward Byers will discuss a vehicle purchase with the commissioners and they will also hear the county attorney and auditor’s report.

The meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are always welcome.  The commissioners meet in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.
