County BuildingThe Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning at 9:30 in their second floor meeting room of the County Building.

Agenda for the meeting includes opening bids for a County Morgue building that will be built on property near the jail.  Plan Director Ty Adley will conduct a public hearing for the Esther and Robert Yoder property along with an amendment to the zoning ordinance for Solar Farms and Highway Superintendent Jason Peters will present details of the county highway activities.

Jerry Chavez, Executive Director and CEO of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation will be on hand for the public hearing for a CDBG Crossroads Loan Grant and Evelyn Shields from WIC will seek approval to apply for a grant.

Greg Hildebrand and Deb VanDeMark, members of the Marshall County Park Board will discuss the possibility of creating a mountain bike trail at Mill Pond.  Ashley Garcia, Administrator of the County Health Department will be asking for approval to apply for a grant to purchase COVID IT products and representatives from United Consulting will give an update on the North Union Road Bridge project.

Also on the commissioner’s agenda is the County Attorney’s report, Auditor’s report including the minutes of their last meeting and the monthly claims. The Auditor will also present the 2021 Payroll schedule and Holiday schedule.

The Commissioners meeting is open to the public although masks are required to enter the building and social distancing is requested.
