Members of the Marshall County Council held their first meeting of the new year. The first order of business was the reorganization of the board. Judy Stone was nominated to retain her position as President of the Council while Penny Lukenbill was nominated to retain her position as Vice President of the Council. The vote to retain those positions was unanimous.
Marshall County Council also confirmed the appointments for liaisons and boards. Listed below were those appointments. The MACOG appointment will be Mandy Campbell while Jim Masterson will serve as the Unsafe Buildings liaison. The Coroner liaison will be Judy Stone who will also be the liaison for the Soil and Water District. Jon VanVactor was appointed to the Court Security Committee, the EMA Board, LEPC, and Solid Waste District Board. The 4-H Fair Board appointment will be Jack Roose. He will also be a member of the Plan Commission. Judy Stone and Mandy Campbell will serve on the Central Dispatch Board.
The County Council also reappointed Maria Keller as their representative on the Marshall County Alcohol Board and Don Fox to the Culver Economic Development Board.
