County News # 1Members of the Marshall County Drainage Board will meet for their first meeting of 2020 on Tuesday, January 21st due to the MLK Holiday on Monday.  Their meeting is held in the second floor meeting room of the County Building and is open to the public.

The first order of business will be the reorganization of the board with the election of officers and appointments.

The County Drainage Board will open maintenance bids for the Balsely Arm to the Ballinger-Meyers Ditch and the Sherman Emmons Ditch.

The Drainage Board will also consider a variance request of Dan Voreis on the Riley Arm to the Ballinger-Meyers Ditch.  Under miscellaneous business is the 2020 Ditch Maintenance Collections, Appointments to joint boards, approval of the December 16th meeting minutes and any other business.

The County Drainage Board meeting is open to the public and comments and questions are always welcome.
