On Tuesday, September 22nd at approximately 2:15 P.M. Officer Enyart with the Plymouth Police Department responded to Walmart in reference to shoplifting. Upon arriving and conducting an investigation it was found that 32 year old, Daniel Compton and 30 year old, Krystal Compton both of Culver had stolen several items on multiple occasions. Both subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where they was held on the charge of Theft with bonds set at $505.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
