On Friday, January 10th at approximately 6:00 P.M. Officer Nick Young with the Bremen Police Department received a cyber tip from the National Center from Missing and Exploited Children regarding Child Pornography. Upon further investigation it was found the 47 year old, Randall R. Kirby of Bremen was Producing and Distributing Child Pornography. Kirby was arrested and taken into custody on two counts of Child Exploitation, Possession of Methamphetamine and Voyeurism. He transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
