Jack Jordan_St. Rep.2017All Indiana high school seniors, current college students and adult learners who qualify for admission to a college or technical school are invited to attend College Goal Sunday on Feb. 23. Experts will be available to assist college-bound students with completing their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This is a free event and is open to all students.

This is the 31st year for College Goal Sunday in Indiana, and the program will be available at 37 sites around the state, including from 2-4 p.m. at Plymouth High School.

FAFSA is a program that assists college or technical school-bound Hoosiers by estimating the financial income of a household and then calculating the amount that a student can receive in financial aid. The program is similar to scholarships and grants, in that you do not have to pay the amount earned back. Additionally, it is free to apply.

The deadline to file a FAFSA form in order to receive financial aid for the 2020-2021 school year is April 15.
