Glenn edges Rensselaer
RENSSELAER – Glenn’s boys slipped past Rensselaer Central in their regular-season finale by a 2-1 final.
Both teams fought to a scoreless first half with Glenn having several scoring chances that just missed connecting for a goal.
In the second half, Glenn increased both defensive and offensive pressure eventually leading to a goal to go up 1-0.
The Bombers would score three minutes later to tie the match.
A minute later Glenn was awarded a penalty kick which the Falcons converted for what proved to be the game-winner.
Scoring for Glenn were: Dominic Pranger and Joe Klinedinst Andrew Snyder made four saves in goal.
