Flags at half mast_CourtHouse Governor Eric J. Holcomb offered the following statement  regarding the passing of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“As a pioneering woman who triumphed in life, fighting for equality and justice for all Americans, tonight Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg takes her place in heaven. She leaves an everlasting legacy for which we can all be proud. Janet and I send heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the Ginsburg family.”

Governor Holcomb has directed flags across the state to be flown at half-staff to honor U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset until the day of her interment.

Governor Holcomb also asks businesses and residents to lower their flags to half-staff to honor Justice Ginsburg and her service.
