Moon Tree_dan breen 2On Friday, October 23rd, poet and owner of PAN-O-PLY magazine Dan Breen will be sharing his work and experiences on the set of Wild Rose Moon’s Moonlight. Breen works as a General Manager at Panera Bread in South Bend, Indiana. He lives there with his wife, Theresa, and their two sons. Inspiration for the creation of PAN-O-PLY came during Breen’s free time, which he chose to dedicate to his love of the arts.
PAN-O-PLY is a quarterly online arts magazine dedicated to publishing short stories, poetry essays, and art from the greater Michiana area. The PAN-O-PLY team seeks to discover stories and art within the lives of Michiana residents, and features articles about the craft of life and those who live well. Their mission is to highlight the everyday excellence of the community, and to explore the unique heritage and diversity of the region. PAN-O-PLY desires to provide an outlet for respectful thought and conversation. They encourage creativity, adventure, and a lust for living an artful life.
PAN-O-PLY is published by Dan Breen and a small team including Cynthia Davis and Brea Persing. The team has just celebrated a one-year anniversary in August of 2020. They are consistently seeking writing contributions, and you can access the magazine and their contact information at panoplymichiana.com and on Facebook @panoplymichiana.
Breen’s two-part interview about his work and live reading of his original poetry will air through Wild Rose Moon’s Facebook live at 7 & 8 p.m. EST. All moonlight episodes are archived for viewing on the Wild Rose Moon Facebook page and at the Wild Rose Moon Media YouTube Channel, linked on wildrosemoon.com, where a list of upcoming shows can be found. Wild Rose Moon’s Moonlight is made possible by a grant from Gibson Insurance and the Gibson Foundation, Encore Performing Arts, and from the Marshall County Community Foundation and Marshall County Tourism.
