On Wednesday, July 29th Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced that the state will stay in stage 4.5 through Thursday, August 27th in the state’s Back On Track plan.
During his weekly news conference, Governor Holcomb stated he would extend the no eviction or foreclosure date through Friday, August 14th, for people behind on their rent or mortgage.
State Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box said if the phone rings and it’s the State Department of Health, you’re being asked to pick it up and talk with them. Dr. Box said contact tracers have not been able to get in touch with about one out of five people who have tested positive for coronavirus.
