The JV Rockies took action Saturday against the East Noble Knights. The Rockies fell short of their second-half comeback with a score of 22-28.  The Rockies scored late in the first quarter on a Kwintin Heiny 3 yard run and adding the two-point conversion to tie the game.  The second quarter saw some great action with both teams trading blows and once again Heiny finding the endzone ending the half  at 14-14. The Rockies struggle in the 3rd quarter but got it worked out and were headed into the 4th quarter down 8pts.  After a late score by the Knights, the Rockies began marching down the field with Zach Masterson finding the endzone and getting the two-point conversion for the final scores for the game.  The Rockies defense was lead by the whole defensive line of Thad Pletcher, Micheal Norris, Austin Kizer, Jaden Klingerman, and James Tolson.  Mathew McCrum at linebacker was a key factor in anchoring the Rockie defense.  The offense was lead by Kwintin Heiny and Adrial Lester on the ground attack.  Mathew McCrum lead in receiving, catching multiple third-down conversions from Quarterback Zach Masterson.  The Rockies are back in action Saturday against the Kokomo Wildcats with kickoff at 10 am.
