LAKEVILLE, IN.- The varsity girl’s basketball team played host to Argos Thursday.
LaVille struggled from the field and dropped a 37-20 decision to the Dragons.
Trynitie Cox scored in each quarter to lead the LHS offense with eight points and hauled in eight rebounds. Allison Medors came off the bench to add five points, while MaKenna Tribbey added five points of her own, including a 3-pointer, five steals, five rebounds, and a pair of assists. Lucy Sherk chipped in with four rebounds.
LaVille falls to 1-20 overall on the season and will close the season on February 1 at home against Hoosier North Athletic Conference rival Culver Community. The JV will tip at 6 p.m., with the varsity to follow.
Prior to the game, LaVille took the opportunity to recognize three senior players – Trynitie Cox, Natalie Gonzalez, and Elena Lindke – along with manager Karly Unruh, and their parents for all of their time, effort, and dedication to LaVille Basketball .
