On Thursday, October 29th at 12:30 A.M. Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Wozniak conducted traffic stop on a gold 2001 Chevrolet Blazer in the area of Michigan Road and Tyler Road.
During the investigation the driver identified as 61 year old, Craig Highland of Lakeville was found to be in Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Paraphernalia. Mr. Highland was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where his bond was set at $1,505.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
