LaVille Ladies take an HNAC loss
FULTON, IN. – The varsity girl’s basketball team traveled to Caston for a Hoosier North Athletic Conference game Saturday.
LaVille trailed at halftime before rallying to narrow the gap to 17-14 at the end of the third quarter.
The two HNAC rivals played pretty even in the final stanza before Caston defeated LaVille, 32-28.
Trynitie Cox scored in each quarter and finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Cox also picked up five steals and two blocked shots.
Lucy Sherk added six points and six rebounds for the Lancers.
LaVille moves to 1-15 overall and 0-4 in the HNAC.
The Lancers will travel to Class 2A #6-ranked North Judson-San Pierre on Tuesday, January 14. The JV will tip at 6:30 p.m., with the varsity to follow.
