LaVille races HNAC field
WINAMAC – The LaVille cross country team began the tournament season with on Saturday in Winamac at the Hoosier North Athletic Conference meet.
Sophomore, Sam Lillie earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors with an 11th place finish (18:52). Freshman Lincon Hulsey just missed conference recognition with a 16th place finish. All seven runners recorded new season personal best.
Despite not having enough girls to score as a team all runners recorded the week’s second personal best and Junior Faith Rock came home with All-Conference Honors for the second year in a row. Rock earned honorable mention with a fourteenth place finish and a time of 22:46. The Lancer squad will prepare for the hills of Erskine at the Sectional meet next Saturday.
