LaVille wrestling earns a strong victory on Senior Night.
LAKEVILLE — The Lancers wrestling team had a strong performance on Senior Night, defeating conference champions Winamac 48-30.
The team secured all their wins for the night by pin from Matt Brown, Levi Holderman, Paul DeWitt, Caleb Tolbert, Alex McFadden, James Bettcher, Tyler Studdon, and Mason Stepp.
Match of the night goes to Levi Holderman, the only senior on the wrestling team. Levi entered the 2nd period down 0-5 in points but was able to secure a hold on his opponent that led to a pin in the second period for Levi.
