PLYMOUTH – Lincoln Junior High cross country teams had an amazing conclusion to their season on Tuesday night.
The girls’ team was able to defend their conference title and won the NELMSC championship for the second year in a row.
The boys’ team also had an outstanding performance and walked away from NELMSC with a second-place finish. This was a tough race and came down to individual finishes.
Competing for the girls: Vivy Miller (2nd), Brooke Edison (6th), Bella Walters (7th), Kali Newcomb (9th), Reid Seddelmeyer (11th), Lauren Gurtner (14th), and Taylor Schedek (19th).
Top three scoring teams at the meet: 1st – LJH – 35 points, 2nd – Lakeview – 53 points, and 3rd – Wawasee – 57 points.
Competing for the boys: Mason Bales (4th), Wade Seddelmeyer (5th), Troy Hundt (7th), Carter Filson (20th), Joseph Stauffer (23), Luca Giordano (25), and Wylie Knapp (26th).
Top three scoring teams at the meet: 1st – Edgewood – 38 points, 2nd – Lincoln – 59 points, and 3rd – Wawasee – 60 points.
