Local flavor for AP all-state squad

INDIANAPOLIS – There are some familiar names on the list in this year’s AP all-state teams with area schools being represented by their outstanding players from the class of 2020.

In class 4A Plymouth’s all-purpose back Seth Rundell was honored for just that. He was named to the AP first-team offense as an all-purpose player.
On the defensive side of the ball CMA’s four-star recruit headed for the University of Iowa, Deontae Craig is one of the defensive linemen.
Plymouth quarterback Joe Barron was named honorable mention on the 4A squad along with junior wide receiver Jake Reichard.
On the 2A squad, Bremen linebacker Sam Huffman was an honorable mention selection as well as LaVille’s punter Leyton Czarnecki.
For class 1A Culver Community struck it rich with three members voted honorable mention. Running back Zac Ditmire was an honorable mention selection along with running mate Jalen King. The man they ran behind is also part of that honorable mention squad as Culver lineman Hunter Lautt was named to the squad as well.
