arrested_handcuffsOn Thursday, September 10th at approximately 11:22 P.M. Officer Emenhiser with the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to 2535 North Michigan Street for a welfare check. During the investigation it was discovered that 26 year old Anthony Mchugh Jr of Plymouth had violated a protective order and resisted law enforcement and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on charges of Possession of Marijuana, Resisting Law Enforcement and Invasion of Privacy with bond set at $755.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
