On Thursday, August 27th at 8:04 A.M. Plymouth Police, Fire & EMS were dispatched to a three vehicle personal injury accident in the Pizza Hut parking lot.
During the investigation Officer Enyart with the Plymouth Police Department determined that the driver of the red Hummer H3 was Dean Colvin of Plymouth. He was exiting the McDonald’s parking lot crossing Michigan Street when he suffered a medical problem causing his vehicle to go over a curb.
Mr. Colvin’s Hummer collided with a red Chevrolet Equinox that was parked and occupied by one female. That collision caused a chain reaction pushing the red Chevrolet Equinox into a black Chevrolet Equinox that was not occupied.
Mr. Colvin and the occupant of the red Chevrolet Equinox were transported to St. Joseph Regional Hospital by Plymouth EMS.
Assisting at the scene was Plymouth Police Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Plymouth Fire/EMS.
