On Saturday, February 8th at approximately 5:36 P.M. the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department received a call of a suspicious male wearing blue jeans, gray sweatshirt and brown boots walking north on Beech Road from 3B Road.

 The caller stated the male was carrying a black trash bag. The caller later stated the male dropped the trash bag in the front yard of a residence in the 3000 block of Beech Road and ran into the woods to the east of the residence.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Officer Brown arrived in the area and located the trash bag which was full of personal documents with the name of Terry Miller from Milford.

Bremen Police assisted in the search for the male and their K-9 arrived on scene to track the male. During the search the male was found running across a field attempting to flee from the Police. He was quickly apprehended and taken into custody.

When 44 year old Terry A. Miller of Milford was located, he did not have a sweatshirt, boots or socks on, and was very cold. Mr. Miller stated he took his boots and socks off in an attempt of the K-9 tracking him.

He was taken to the Bremen Hospital to be checked for frost bite and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for Resisting Law Enforcement and held on a $755 bond.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
