Operation Round Up_Bread of Life 2020On Tuesday, February 11th, the Marshall County REMC Operation Round Up board awarded $3,500 to two organizations.

The Bread of Life Community Food Pantry received funding to help with the installation of a phase converter to upgrade their current electrical system, allowing them to put in a walk-in freezer. The Bread of Life Food Pantry provides one source of nutritious food supplements to the needs of the poor. This service is offered in the spirit that maintains the dignity, self-respect, and privacy of those they serve.

Plymouth Youth Soccer Association received funding to purchase new ball bags for each of their teams. Plymouth Youth Soccer Association allows pre-school-aged children to 8th grade the opportunity to participate in soccer. Plymouth typically has 18 to 23 teams in the spring season, with 9 towns participating, impacting 1,800 to 2,200 kids.
