mug_shot christopher langley 12_2020On Friday, December 18th Detective McIntyre with the Plymouth Police Department received a call from the Department Of Child Services in reference to a Child Molestation allegation involving a 15 year old female and 39 year old, Christopher Langley of Plymouth.
During the investigation of the complaint the probable cause affidavit stated that all subjects involved were questioned at the Plymouth Police Department.
A search warrant was applied for Langley’s Facebook account which revealed evidence of hundreds of messages, photos and videos of Langley and the minor victim.
On Tuesday, December 22nd Detective McIntyre went to the Economy Inn and transported Christopher Langley to the Plymouth Police Department for further investigation where he was later taken into custody on the charges of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor and Child Solicitation with bond set at $3,005.
It was also noted in the probable cause affidavit that Mr. Langley had a prior conviction of Child Molestation in 2003 in Marshall County along with several convection’s of Failure to Register as Sex Offender.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
