Members of the Plymouth Park Board opened three quotes for a new pick-up truck during their meeting Monday evening. City Attorney Sean Surrisi opened the bids and presented the information to the board.
Auto Park Buick GMC quoted a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 regular cab, long bed, 4-wheel drive. The manufactures suggested retail price is $43,885 but the price for the park department would be $40,190.31. They offered a trade-in of $3,500 for the 1996 F250 with a snow plow. The total price is $36,691.30.
The second quote was from County Auto Center for a 2020 Chevrolet regular cab, 4-wheel drive, 2500 pick-up was $33,214 and offered $3,000 for the trade-in for a total of $30,214.
The final quote was from Oliver Ford Lincoln for a 2020 Ford 250 regular cab, 4-wheel drive pick-up. The quote was $28,932 with a trade-in of $700 bringing the total to $28,182.
The bids were taken under advisement for review by Park Superintendent Mike Hite. The park board motioned to allow him to move forward with selecting the lowest quote that meets the specifications prior to the March meeting.
