Members of the Plymouth Park Board discussed naming one of the streets in Centennial Park after a long-time park board member.
Board President, Dave Morrow suggested naming the street from Randolph Street to near the Freyman Shelter in honor of Jack Wilhelm. Morrow said Jack was a wonderful man and had so much enthusiasm for the parks and city.
Board member Mike Kershner said it would be a good gesture to honor Wilhelm and mentioned his long time involvement with the park department.
Dave Morrow suggested naming the street Jack Wilhelm Drive and members present Adam Lukenbill, Alex Eads, Mike Kershner and Dave Morrow unanimously approved the renaming.
