On Wednesday, January 29th at approximately 5:30 A.M. the Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of US 30 and Oak Drive for a two vehicle accident. Upon arriving to the scene Plymouth Police Officer Richey was advised that 63 year old, Phil Conyers of Knox was heading northbound on Oak Drive in his 2008 Chevy pickup. For unknown reasons Conyers proceeded through the red light and into the path of 63 year old Michele Lonigro of Knox who was eastbound on US 30 in his 1981 Mack truck causing a collision. Conyers was transported to St. Joseph Regional Hospital by Plymouth EMS. Both Vehicles were towed from the scene. Plymouth Police Department was assisted by Plymouth Fire and EMS and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
