Recycle Depot_Logo11-10-17The Marshall County Recycle Depot facility will open Monday, May 4th for regular hours with social distancing rules in place.

The Recycle Depot Swap Shop will be closed until further notice.

“We will have some new procedures for our visitors to be aware of,” said Director Marianne Peters. “Recycling will take a bit longer, as we are asking people to stay in their cars until it is their turn to access the totes for cardboard and paper. Only one person at a time will be allowed to dump their recyclables into the compactor. We will still be on hand to help out as usual, but we are asking those with active COVID symptoms to stay home until they have been symptom-free for at least 48 hours.”

Residents with questions may call the Recycle Depot office anytime to speak to a staff person or leave a message.

“Don’t worry,” said Peters, “We will still be smiling behind our masks!”
