Red Storm seventh and eighth get wins
WALKERTON – Lincoln’s seventh grade A and B teams both got wins against Urey Middle School Wednesday night.
The A team won in two with the score of the first set being 25-9 and a second set score of 25-18.
Serving played a big role in the game as Eva Sheedy led the team with 12 aces. Jersey Hunter provided four kills and Mia Hartley had eight assists.
The LJH B team won in two sets with scores of 25-19 and 25-9.
Sienna O’Connor had a big night serving with two separate runs of eight and nine serves, five of which were aces. Lilly Runyan provided the offense with 4 assists. Taylor Hauptmann had 4 kills to finish out the night.
The 8th graders were also victorious against Urey.
The A team came out hot with scores of 25–11 and 25-6. The B team ended with scores of 25-13 and 25-20.
