WRMRH_LogoThe Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour will feature the Celtic folk band, Soltre, during this week’s program. Featuring the original songs of Adam Carter, Sean Ellsworth-Hoffman, Eric Fiechtner, and the bass stylings of Nathan Waddill, the band lets loose with a cavalcade of singing styles and song forms in a demonstration of their musical virtuosity.  During the show, you’ll hear Eric Fiechtner share the Irish song style described as, Sean-nós, a highly ornamented style of Irish solo singing.  The song titled, Weary of Lying Alone, tells the story of a young woman afraid of dying unmarried.  Sean Ellsworth-Hoffman renders a beautiful ballad, Tonight I’m Goin’ Northbound, about the beautiful wilds of Alaska while Adam Carter shares a touching piece, modeled on love ballads of old.  During the break, Doug Harsch, the prolific songwriter-performer from South Bend, Indiana shares one of his originals entitled, The Girl Who Waits for Me.

The Wild Rose Moon Radio Hour is recorded in front of a live audience that is invited to participate in the show.  During the program audience members have the chance to be chosen for the Shoot the Moon Quiz Show which features four questions related to the featured guest’s biography.  It’s all happening in Historic Downtown Plymouth, at Wild Rose Moon’s Little Moon Theater, 115 North Michigan Street.  “Where the Michigan Road and the Lincoln Highway cross the beautiful Yellow River… “

The Wild Rose Moon Radio hour airs the first Saturday of the month (February 1st) at 12 p.m on WTCA 1050 AM/106.1 FM, and airs Monday night, February 10th at 9 p.m., on WVPE, 88.1.
